Dinner with Joel Salatin: Benefit for The CROP Foundation
The CROP Foundation will host an intimate dinner with environmentalist and food activist Joel Salatin on June 7th at The Rutter Loft in Norfolk, Virginia. The CROP Foundation’s mission is to foster educational and employment opportunities for students who are driven to study and promote the art, science, and soul of food.
Cavalier is happy to support this unique event as a First Course Scholarship Sponsor, which covers the cost of a student to intern or stage at a Norfolk or Virginia Beach restaurant. Cavalier will also provide food for the event.
The evening will include a reception featuring passed “CROPed” bites and wine or cocktail pairings, followed by a seated five-course meal with wine pairings. Participating chefs include:
